Due to the changes in building regulations in April 2002 when the government laid down guidelines for improved thermal efficiency and energy conservation when installing new windows and doors. This means that certificates are required when these improvements are made to residential properties.

Certass was one of two companies along with Fensa approved by the government to self administer these certificates. Ambiance was successfully approved for membership by Certass and adhere to all relevant standards laid down by building regulations.

IPWFI

IPWFI are the leaders in protecting the home owner from worthless guarantees where the issuing company is no longer trading. They not only insure the guarantee given by a home improvement company but also offer deposit protection making the process of purchasing a home improvement easier and more reassuring for the householder.

Before we were accepted as a member, our company was thoroughly vetted by means of obtaining references from not just past customers, but from suppliers and trading partners as well. Then the directors and company was investigated financially to ensure stability with a firm future outlook.

Having passed these tests we were successfully accepted as members BUT it does not stop there, the IPWFI carry out random checks by way of surveys carried out with our customers along with the guarantee certificate. These ongoing checks ensure complete customer satisfaction with our installations.

TrustMark

TrustMark is a government-backed scheme to help consumers find reputable trades people to carry out work in their home.

To be TrustMark registered, a company will be checked out to make sure the company meets TrustMark standards. This covers technical ability, trading record, health & safety, practices, creditworthiness customer satisfaction and other essential areas. Ambiance is very proud of the fact we were accepted after all the stringent checks had taken place proving that we carry out very high standards of work.

Ambiance is registered through Certass.
